Judith Mae O'Keefe, 66, of Keansburg, passed away after a long battle with MSA, on Monday July 24th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, surrounded by her family. She was born in Jersey City and has been a lifelong resident of Keansburg. Judith worked as an executive secretary for Rich Gelwarg and Lampf. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church, Keansburg, a past active member of the Keansburg PTA and KHS Booster Club, and a was on the Keansburg Housing Authority. Judith loved and was very active with her children and grandchildren, and was extremely devoted to her community and cherished the enduring friendships she made . Judith was pre-deceased by her parents, Raymond and Edith Chave and her brother, Bob Chave. Surviving is her loving husband of 47 years Dennis O'Keefe of Keansburg; 3 sons and daughters in-law Dennis and Gina O'Keefe of Jackson; Thomas and Jenn O'Keefe of Middletown and Patrick and Bonnie O'Keefe of Keansburg; her daughter Kerri O'Keefe-Haupt of Atlantic Highlands and 11 grandchildren. There will be a viewing for family only on Thursday from 7-9 PM. Family will be accepting friends on Friday 2-4 and7-9PM at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals 233 Carr Ave. Keansburg.
