Rita Caizza, 56 of Highlands, died peacefully on May 25, 2017 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Jamaica, Queens she was a life resident of Highlands. Rita was a mortgage processor for Atlantic Mortgage Company in Oceanport. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and a former member of the B.O.E. both in Highlands. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret Mullen; her brothers, John, Robert, William and Patrick; and her sisters, Margaret and Jane. Surviving are her husband of 28 years, John Caizza; a son, Anthony William Caizza; a step son, John Caizza; a daughter, Kathleen Margaret Ann Caizza; a sister and brother-in-law, Anne and James Immesberger; a granddaughter, Madison and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Monday May 29 at from 2-5 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. (corner of Third Ave.) in Long Branch. Funeral, Tuesday; 11am Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 141 Rt. 36, Highlands. Interment will follow at Bay View Cemetery in Leonardo.
