Krout, Allen R., Sr., 82, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully at the Health Center at Galloway, surrounded by his loving family, on March 10, 2011. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he lived in Bellmawr before moving to the Oaks of Weymouth 12 years ago. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Al was a dedicated supporter and coach with the Bellmawr Little League. He was an avid fisherman in his leisure time. He was the loving and devoted husband for 63 years of Dolores C. (nee: Mayer), a devoted father to Allen, Jr. (Terri), and David (Dorothy), a loving grandfather to Todd and Danielle, and an uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Bertha Krout, and his three sisters; Anna May, Barbara, and Jean. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Tuesday, March 15th, from 9-10:30am, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11am, at the St. Vincent DePaul Church, Rt. 50 & 2nd St., Mays Landing. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
