Andrew Winston Spencer Churchill Yearsley was a South Jersey Native born at Shore Memorial Hospital on 12 October 1982. He grew up in Weymouth Township and graduated from the local school and Buena Regional High School. Andy graduated from Marine Corps Basic Training at Parris Island, SC. He was an underwater welder who graduated from Commercial Diving Academy in Jacksonville Florida. He was a Partner in Botek Pools Inc, a skilled glass blower at Wilmad Glass, and an employee of J.V. Palmonari. Though addicted to legal and illegal drugs, he remained a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, boyfriend, Christian, and friend to all including the needy and forgotten. Andrew was funny, smart, and generous. He was predeceased by his Grand Parents Elmer and Elizabeth Yearsley and will be missed by his Parents Douglas and Bonnie Yearsley, His Brother Michael, Sister-in-law Diana, nephews Joseph and Douglas, niece Lillian, Grandparents Theodore and Jeanette Szigethy, and many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Friends. Descending from dozens of South Jersey’s original European settlers and patriots, he will join the generations of his family asleep in hope of The Resurrection. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 25th, from 6-8pm, at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 26th, 11am at St. Bernard’s Church, 42 Pennsylvania Ave., Dorothy, NJ where a viewing will be held one hour prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers please donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Church Building Fund, 5021 Harding Hwy., Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
