Dominic J Gerth 2/28/89 - 12/29/16 Dominic was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, who passed away unexpectedly on 12/29/16. Born in Atlantic City and has resided in Absecon. Dominic attended Emma C Attales School and Holy Spirit High School. Dominic had a passion and natural talent for sports. He excelled in baseball, football, basketball, wrestling and soccer. He was Holy Spirit's star pitcher. A die hard, Philadelphia Eagles fan for sure. He enjoyed playing a good video game. Dom had the experience of a lifetime hiking thru and experiencing the wonder and beauty of Hawaii. He enjoyed the thrill of sky diving and skiing. Dom was a beautiful kind soul, he had great love and loyalty for his family and friends. He had a very special way of connecting with children. Dom loved them and they loved him back even more. He is preceded in death by his mother Constance "Connie" Polistina He is survived by his grandmother Mary "Connie" Polistina. His Father David Gerth. His brothers David Gerth Jr. and Donald Gerth, sisters Jacqueline and Jessica Gerth. His Aunts, Carmella Marcheski, Christine Meale and husband Pat, Diane Rongione and husband John. His cousins, Hugh Marcheski Jr, Matthew Marcheski, Jonathan Marcheski, Angelina Meale, Gianna Rongione and his 8 year old "best friend" Dominque Rongione. Plus many loving friends. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 6, from 1-3 PM at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 3 PM. Interment is private.
