Howard G Booye

Howard G. Booye, III “Boot” 49 of Mays Landing died after a long battle from Lupus. He is survived by his wife Noelle, mother Betty Grieco of Mays Landing, his father Howard G. Booye, Jr. of E.H.T., Children, Jason (mother Liza Calandrillo), Rieley, Daishaun, Lydia and Madelyn (mother Noelle), his sisters Traci Brittain (Eric) of Mays Landing, Sally Geller (Joe) of Colts Neck, brothers Don Grieco (Diane) of Mays Landing, Frank Grieco, Jr. of E.H.T., many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, and his beloved dogs Pierre, Paris and Jake-Jake. He was predeceased by his step-father Frank Grieco, Sr. He was employed at the Atlantic County Justice Facility for 24 years. He was in the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Forrestal CV-59. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed being Santa Claus for Toys for Kids, finding the nearest watering hole and going fishing. He loved to make everyone laugh at his crazy sense of humor. He was always there to help a friend out. He will be deeply missed by anyone who knew him. A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 5th, from 5-8pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 8pm. Committal services and Military Honors will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 12Noon, at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Route 50, Estell Manor, NJ.
