JUNE SMITH (SPRAGUE) 86 - of Melbourne, FL passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 of natural causes. June was born to Earnest and Mary Sprague in Bradford, PA and raised in Duke Center, PA. After High School, she married Linton Smith. Together they had two children and shortly thereafter became widowed, June met Albert Peterson and together they raised Janice & Robert Smith. June worked for the City of Brigantine and was devoted to her children and loved spending time with her grandchildren. After raising their family in Brigantine, June and Albert retired to Melbourne, FL. June is survived by son Robert Smith; companion Albert Peterson; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. June’s Viewing will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, and Interment will immediately follow at the Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery in Egg Harbor Township.
