Marguerite Riley, 82, of Mays Landing, passed away on October 31, 2010. Born in New York City, she lived most of her life in Bergenfield, NJ until moving to Mays Landing 10 years ago. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing cards on Friday nights, bus trips to the casinos, and she loved eating out. Preceded in death by her husband Howard T. Riley and daughter Sharon Anthony, she will always be remembered by her daughters: Kathleen Sahlberg and her husband Fred of Bergenfield and Joan Dannenfelser and her husband Tom of Woolwich; her son John Riley and his wife Angela of Washington Township; her sister Joan Ryan of Mays Landing; nephew Donald Ryan and his wife Karen of Pitman; Six grandchildren: Mark Anthony, Dana and Fred Sahlberg, Amber Breinig, and Meridith and Shannon Dannenfelser; five great-grandchildren: Hunter and Christal Anthony, Rory and Babe Breinig, and Tylor Hilderbrandt; nephew Brendan Ryan and niece Siobhan Ryan. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4, 11 AM, at the Church of St. Katharine Drexel, 6075 West Jersey Ave., Egg Harbor Township, where friends may gather from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the American Heart Association, Founders Affiliate, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
