Roeder, Robert D., of Mays Landing, passed away on March 1, 2009. Bob leaves behind his wife of 10 years, Melissa; his cherished son, Zachery; father David; brother Christopher; maternal grandmother Yvonne; and other relatives and friends. He worked as corrections officer for Atlantic County. Bob's greatest joys in life included serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, hunting, fishing, and "4-wheeling" with his vehicle. He loved spending recreational time around the campfire, joking and sharing memories with friends and family. We will all miss his playful attitude, his quick witted sense of humor, and his open friendliness toward everyone he knew. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, 11 AM, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 114 Route 50, Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Commital services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "Zachary Roeder Trust Fund" and mailed to Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, NJ 08330
