Sparks, Thomas, Jr., 42, of Margate, passed away suddenly on April 16, 2008. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he has been a resident of South Jersey for the past 28 years. He was an Officer for the Atlantic City Police, retiring in 2006 after 13 years of service. He will always be remembered by his wife Sue; three children: Alyssa, Tommy, and Taylor; grandchild Lilia; parents Thomas Sr. and Nancy; brother Kirk; nephew Kirk, Jr., and niece Sadie. A viewing will be held on Monday, 11 AM - 2 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 2 PM Monday. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing immediately following services.
