Lillian Liska

Lillian M. Liska (nee Sarka), 90, of West Caldwell, passed away on September 14, 2019. Relatives and friends are invited for memorial visitation on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 12 pm through 2 pm at Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068. A Memorial Service will be offered at 2 pm in the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at shookfarmer.com. Lillian grew up in West Caldwell, married and moved to Riverdale for time and settled back in West Caldwell. She worked at Prudential Insurance in Newark, NJ and later was a crossing guard for West Caldwell. She was an avid Yankees fan and a lover of Russell Stover chocolates. Pre-deceased by her siblings, Alex, John, and Ethel Sarka. She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Albert Liska; devoted daughter, Diane E. Fusaro; loving grandchildren, Anthony (Marisa) and Gabrielle; cherished great-grandson, Joseph. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the West Essex First Aid Squad.
