Elizabeth was born December 13, 1924, in New York City to Matthew and Elizabeth Quinn. She grew up in the City and attended High School, as well taking college classes.
In 1949 she married James W. Cameron, in the Bronx and later moved to Brewster, New York, where she and James raised two children, Patrick J. and Elizabeth J. She is predeceased by James who passed in 1971, and her son Patrick in 1984. Elizabeth worked at a number jobs, but most recently, she worked as a Mortgage Officer for several local banks, before retiring.
She was a devout Catholic and a member of the Catholic Daughters of St. Lawrence Church, as well as the St. Lawrence Seniors.
Calling hours for Elizabeth will be at Beecher Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 11am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church in Brewster. Burial to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery.
