Kellock, Evelyn R., age 96, of Patterson, NY, died Sunday November 25, 2012 at Putnam Hospital Center.

Mrs. Kellock was born November 10, 1916 in Manhattan, NY to the late Henry A. and Mary F. (O’Brien) Klausman. She graduated from Julia Richmond High School in Manhattan and attended Plaza Business School in Long Island City.

Mrs. Kellock married John W. Kellock on October 4, 1941 at St. Raphael Church in Long Island City. Mr. Kellock died on May 25, 1982.

Mrs. Kellock worked for Knickbocker Catering in Long Island City, NY as a secretary for 18 years before retiring in 1974.

Mrs. Kellock had lived in Putnam Lake (Patterson) during the summers for many years before moving there permanently in 1975. She was a past president of the Columbiettes Colon Council # 309 (women’s form of Knights of Columbus), the state district deputy of the Columbiettes, she was also a parish council and Eucharistic minister coordinator. Evelyn was a member of the advisory board for the office of the aging and volunteered for WOR Children’s Fund for 18 years.

Mrs. Kellock is survived by her daughter, Arlyne M. Kellock of Patterson, NY; a nephew, Henry R. Klausman and three nieces, Susan Finnegan, Ruth Lee Quai and Mary Lou Soucy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday,November 30, 2012 at
10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, NY. Interment following at Milltown Rural Cemetery, Brewster, NY. Friends may call at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster on Thursday from 4-8PM
