Anna Ross

Anna H. Ross, at the age of 104, joined her beloved husband, Victor, in heaven on August 21, 2018. Anna, the only child of Anna Kojas and Alexander Navidomske, was born in Kansas City, Kansas on February 16, 1914. The Navidomske family moved to Bridgeport, CT when Anna was three years old. Anna married Victor Ross in St. George Church on June 19, 1937, and they celebrated 60 years together until his death on December 8, 1997. Her life has been devoted to her family. She cooked with love and created treasured holiday memories. She has lived to see the world come out of the Great Depression and World War II to a time when the world is run by computer science. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Patricia, and son-in-law, Robert W. Silk. She is loved by her grandchildren, Patti (and her husband Allan) Popp, and Rob (and his wife Aimee) Silk. She was the proud great-grandmother of Derek Popp, Christopher Popp and Lucinda Silk. Anna was a member of the Knights of Lithuania, C-141, Bridgeport, CT for over 20 years and a lifelong member of St. George Church. Anna’s life will be celebrated with a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11am at St. George Church, 443 Park Avenue, Bridgeport. Calling hours will take place on Friday morning from 10am until the start of Mass in St. George Church. Interment will be private.
