Stephen J. Holland, 65, of Manlius, passed away at home with family by his side. He was born in Amityville, NY on October 18, 1955. Steve graduated from St. John the Baptist High School in Amityville and received his bachelors degree in American Government & Politics at SUNY Empire State College. Steve enjoyed reading and writing, spending time with his children and grandchildren, rooting for the Mets, Mark Twain Trivia, crossword puzzles and fantasy football. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Wendy Smith Holland; daughter, Mary (Sean) of Ithaca; son, Peter (Billie Jo) of New Woodstock; sister, Kathy (Mark) of Wantaugh; sister-in-law, Jayne (Randy) of Cazenovia; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be private. Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Hospice of CNY, 990 Seventh North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.Obituary
