POTSDAM – Mrs. Amy M. Moulder, 48, of 85 County Route 59, unexpectedly passed away Tuesday evening, September 12, 2017 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

Amy was born March 4, 1969 in Canton, the daughter of Sherry Gordon and stepdaughter to Edward Reed. She was a graduated of Madrid-Waddington Central School and took courses at SUNY Canton. On June 18, 2004, she married William D. Moulder at the home of her parents in Potsdam.

Amy was a self-employed Nail Designer and Consultant for Jamberry. She was a very generous spirited person, who put others first. She enjoyed playing computer games, watching her son at Tai Kwan Do, and “nagging her landlord.” Amy also cherished the times she was able to spend visiting with her family and friends.

Amy is survived by her husband, William; two sons, Caleb Edward Gordon and his companion, Rebecca Fuller of Potsdam and William Lucas Moulder, at home; her mother and stepfather, Sherry and Eddie Reed of Potsdam; her sisters and their husbands, Sarah and Daniel Simmons and Wendy and William Briggs, all of Potsdam; and her half-sisters and their spouses, Angela and Eric Rafferty of Colorado, Erica and Benjamin Helms of South Carolina; and Arin Reed and Rick Ratzlaff of Colorado. She is also survived by her step grandfather, Morris “Jack” Reed of Potsdam, her father-in-law, Ronald Moulder of Ringgold, GA; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Amy was predeceased by her grandparents, Almond and Shirley Gordon and Selma Reed; and her uncles, Almond Gordon, Jr. and Terry Gordon.

Friends may call Saturday 2-4:00 PM at the Donaldson-Seymour Funeral Home, Potsdam. There will be no funeral services.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley.
