Wilbur Arthur Schultz

Wilbur Arthur Schultz, 81, of Baroda, passed away April 13, 2011 at his residence in Baroda. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00pm on April 16, 2011 at. Zion United Church of Christ 9100 Church St., Baroda with Pastor Chris Noffke officiating. Friends may visit from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a service to follow. Wilbur was born on February 15, 1930 in Baroda, Michigan. On November 1, 1958 he married Mary Ann Winfield in Baroda, Michigan. Wilbur retired from Allied-Signal in 1989 as a mechanic. Wilbur was devoted to spending time with his family. He had a lifelong passion for growing things, including fruits, vegetables, and trees. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, polka dancing, and playing cards with friends and family. He was known for his innovative mechanical abilities. Wilbur was a member of the Local U.A.W. 383 and lifelong member of the Zion United Church of Christ. Wilbur is survived by his wife Mary Ann of Baroda; sons Brian (Sherri) Schultz, Daniel Schultz, daughter Linda (Larry) Kuball; grandchildren Drew, Sarah, Julia, Thomas, Crystal, Dustin, Sarah, and Amber; great-grandchild Gavin; brother Walter Gast of New Mexico, sisters Helen Schiller of Bitely Michigan, Thelma Darda of Sawyer Michigan, and many nieces and nephews. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Anna (Boslau) Schultz, and brothers Norman Schultz, and Henry Gast.
