Jasper Cornett

Jasper Cornett, 67, of Lake Toxaway went to be with the Lord Saturday March 9, 2013 at The Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. He was born February 13, 1946 in Kentucky to the late David Homer Cornett and Anne Gilchrist Cornett. Mr. Cornett was a Faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, He was loved by everyone that knew him. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Dupont after 30 years. Survivors include his wife Helen McCall Cornett, his mother Dicie Rider and her husband Lewis, two daughters Ann Simms and her husband Bryan and Rhea Strickland and her husband John, five brothers Mike Cornett and his wife Debbie, Tony Cornett and his wife Vickie, Troy Cornett and his wife Debbie, Dennis Cornett and his wife Tracey and Johnny Rider and his wife Traci, one sister Carol Martin and her husband Jerome, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday March 16, 2013 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
