Tonya D. Moise, age 40, of Lenoir, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She was born May 8, 1979 in South Carolina, daughter of Anthony Avetta and Lolietta Moorehead Avetta. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Collins and grandmother Ruth Moorehead. Tonya worked in the field of telecommunications. In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are a son, T.J. Taylor of Gaffney, SC; four daughters, Tiffany Moise of Kannapolis, NC, Richia Moise of Morganton, NC, Erica Moise of House Spring, MO and Makaila Avetta of Hildebran; brother Anthony Avetta III of Hildebran, NC and a sister, Teresa Choates of Jackson, MO. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24, 2019 at Mackie-Whisenant Funeral Home from 6:00-7:00 PM with the Service to follow at 7:00 PM in the Mackie-Whisenant Chapel officiated by Rev. Devin Severt. Burial will be private. Mackie-Whisenant Funeral Home is serving the family.
