Dale Scott Franklin, age 58 of Water Tower Drive passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at his home. A lifelong resident of Forest City, Dale loved his family, his animals and vintage cars, especially his Corvette. His passion was also his life’s work – Dale’s Body and Frame. He is survived by his mother, Betty West Franklin. A daughter, Sydney, a son, Daniel, and two grandsons, Gavin and Gaige. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Carl Eugene Franklin and his brother Rick. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Carl Bishop officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the service at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
