Spindale, NC Helon Gilbert England age 93, of Spindale NC passed away on November 16, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Helon was the daughter of the late William Gilbert and Alice Head Gilbert. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Dyanne Satterfield; son-in-law Patrick Satterfield; granddaughter Tiffaney Dickinson; grandson Stefan Christian; grandson Patrick Satterfield, Jr.; five great grandchildren Chase Dickinson, Caroline Dickinson, Andrew Dickinson; Eliot Christian, Avner Christian; brother Charles Gilbert. In addition to her parents Helon was preceded in death by her first husband Broadus Norville and her second husband Homer England; great grandson Marlon Christian; brothers Hollis Gilbert and Paul Gilbert. Helon loved her grandchildren, adored her great grandchildren, loved attending church at Spindale Church of the Brethren, and her happiest days were when she was working in her sewing room. Services conducted by the family will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Spindale Church of the Brethren with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service.
