Renée Borr, 65 of, St. Joseph, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018, also at the funeral home and one hour before the service on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Outreach Ministries of Second Chance Ministries or American Diabetes Association. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Renée was born on April 14, 1953, to Alvin and Dorothy (Zerbe) Borr in Benton Harbor. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1971. She then went on to North Central Bible College to receive a degree in behavioral science and to Lake Michigan College where she became a Registered Nurse. She worked at the VA Hospital in Battle Creek as an RN for several years. Renée was very active in the community, especially with her church, Second Chance Ministries. Renée is survived by her parents, Alvin and Dorothy Borr; siblings, Rudy (Diane) Borr, Rodney Borr and Rhonda (Tom) Fisher and several nieces and nephews.
