Glinda Marshall Hill – Mount Carmel, TN Glinda Marshall Hill, 68, Mount Carmel, TN passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at the Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN. Glinda was born in Wise County, VA on September 16, 1950, to the late Raymond Marshall and Helen Marshall Salyers. In addition to her parents, her husband, Dennis E. Hill preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Gregory A. Hill and wife, Bobbie Bevins-Hill, Mt. Carmel, TN; sisters, Betty and husband, Thomas Rose, Castlewood, VA, Diane and husband, George Wolfe, Abingdon, VA and Karen and husband, Bobby Salyers, Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Raymond Hill, Mt. Carmel, TN, Leanna Hill, Norman, OK; great-grandchild, Emma Hill, Mt. Carmel, TN. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm – 7:00pm Saturday, August 31, 2109 at the Gate City Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00pm in the Gene Falin Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Riley Boy and Rev. Mike Ervin officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00am, Sunday, September 1, 2019 at the Marshall Cemetery in the Castlewood Community of Scott County, VA. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
