Francine E. Shadle

Funeral service for Francine E. “Fran” (Denten) Shadle, 77 of Mentor, will be 11 AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094.

Family will receive friends 9-11 AM Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Fran passed away June 13, 2018 at Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 19, 1941 in North Carolina.

Fran was a 1959 Shaw High graduate. She took pride in being a homemaker and raising her family and was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Fran enjoyed reading, watching Cleveland sports, and being with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Robert “Bob” Shadle; sons, Brian (Sharon Brown) Shadle and Keith (Karen) Shadle; grandchildren, Heather and Jason; sister-in-law Sandra Glover and niece, Cheryl Glover.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Private family burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.

Family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 11786 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
