Christina Mathues
Christina Lynn Mathues, died suddenly on May 10, 2016 of Parkesburg PA She was a substitute teacher in the Cecil count y school district for the last 12 years and she was a devoted Christian who attended the Bible Study Room in Oxford Pa. Chris loved animals ,especially horses and loved to do crafts. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Muriel Smith .Her sister Donna Calaway and brother Steven Smith . She is survived by her her husband Richard Mathues of Parkesburg PA Her siblings Sandra Kates (Larry) of California, Linda Froelich (Jim ) of Reading Pa, Charlie Smith (Kim) of Illinois and Patricia Smith, who she cared for the last 10 years, of West Chester . Sister-in-law Betsy Smith.Chris was very close to her family and was an exceptionally good aunt. She had very close relationships with her nieces and nephews. They are Rachel, Chris, Jennifer, Jimmy, Debbie, Krista, Jodi, Victoria and Alexandria and hosts of great nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. She was a very special person to Crystal (Dan) Griffin of Brookhaven and Sami Jo Gregory (Kyle) of Malvern AK. She was loved so much by her grandchildren Daniel Jr., Isaiah, and Noah Griffin and Madison and Kyle Gregory Memorial Service Tuesday May 24th,7:30 PM at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service 202 S.
