Born in Carlisle, PA, she was the daughter of the late James B and the late Violet K (Stum) Nelson. Irene was a devoted and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother She was a Waitress at Springfield Country Club. Irene was an avid sports fan and enjoyed doing the seek & find puzzles. Survived by her loving 5 children Louis D. Salerno, Jr Diane (Ralph) Antes, Michael Salerno Roxanne (David) Lappin, Lisa (Robert) Hales 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
