Terrance Casey

Terrance J. “Pop” Casey, Jr., 84 of Ridley Park, PA, died Friday May 18, 2018 surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia, Pa he was the son of the late Terrance J. Casey, Sr. and the late Mary (nee: Doherty). Terrance worked as a fork lift operator for 39 years with Acme Markets. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local Union 169. He served with the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of The American Legion, Post 0200. He is survived by his loving wife, Helenmarie (nee: Smithson), his children, Terrance J. (Kellie) Casey, III of Oxford, Pa., Helen (Chris) Betzler of Milmont Park, Pa., Matthew S. (Joann) Casey of Kissimee, Fl., and his grandchildren, Christopher, Erin, Joseph, and Caroline and his sister, Eileen Flood. He was predeceased by his sisters Mary Ellen Lloyd and Agnes Bowers. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 23, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 am at Kevin M. Lyons Funeral Service, 202 S. Chester Pike, Glenolden, PA 19036 where a memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Wounded Warriors at woundedwarriorsproject.org or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
