Ronald P. Preuhs Sr., 75, of Coitsville, OH, passed away the morning of July 12, 2017 at The Grove at New Wilmington. Born on June 4, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Medic Preuhs. Surviving is his beloved wife of 36 years, the former Gale Gorenz, whom he married on February 21, 1981.

Ronald retired as the owner and optician of Eye Deals Optique in New Castle. An avid car enthusiast, he loved classic cars, car cruises, and NASCAR. Ronald also enjoyed watching sports.

In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his children, Ronald P. Preuhs Jr. and wife Kathy of Hope Valley, RI and Donald Preuhs of New Castle, sister, Patricia Fedak of Pittsburgh, PA, and four grandchildren.

Honoring his wishes, private services are being held at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd.
