<p>Carrie M. Hargis 76 passed away on June 11, 2011 in Chattanooga, TN.She was preceded in death by her husband, A. L. Hargis.Survivors include her children, Joyce El-Amin, Raymond (Patsy) Lewis,&nbsp; Rhonda Manning and Angela Hargis; sisters, Nan Lindsey, Juanita Patton, Ruby Mathews; grandchildren, Maryam Walker, Nena El-Amin, James Manning III, Carrie Manning, Alexander Lewis and Shaun Hargis; five great-grandchildren; dear friend, Faneeta Richardson; a host of relative and friends.Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Poindexter officiating.&nbsp; Interment – National Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue.</p>
