Patsy Whiten

Greenville -- Patsy B. Whiten, 76, formerly of 40 Gatling Ave in Greenville, passed away May 31st, 2013 at Emeritus at Bellaire Place. Born in Gaffney, Mrs. Whiten was the widow of James Douglas Whiten, Sr. and the daugher of the late Roy Gill and Geneva Cithran Broome. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of Augusta Heights Baptist Church in Greenville. Mrs. Whiten is survived by two sons, James Douglas Whiten, Jr. and wife, Karen, of Simpsonville and Dale Roy Whiten and wife, Myra, of Blue Ridge, SC; two sisters, Barbara McConnell of Columbia and Sally Broome of Kings Mountain, NC; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends June 2nd, 2013 from 3:00pm - 4:00pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held June 2nd, at 4:00pm at Mountain View Cemetery.
