Robert J. Cosenza, 76, of Airmont NY, passed away on May 26th, 2019. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Alphonso and Theresa, and his brother Ralph. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Teresa; his son Robert; daughter Eva Marie and daughter Michelle Neidkowski (Brad); grandchildren Travis and Jacob Crew, and Grayson Neidkowski. He grew up in the Bronx, NY and proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1967. He worked for ConEdison from 1967 until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed going to the casino with his wife; watching car racing; and listening to Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison. The wake will be held on Thursday, May 30th, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Scarr Funeral Home in Suffern. Friday's funeral mass will be held at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern, followed by burial at Ascension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Sacred Heart Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
