Betty Mize

Service for Betty Ruth Mize, 82, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Jerry Clements will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Mize passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 in Ft. Worth. She was born June 10, 1930 in Euless to Willie Oclea and Emma Ellen Smith Steward. She married Marion Wayne Mize in March of 1948 in Birdville. Mrs. Mize was a homemaker and past member of Birdwell Baptist Church in Haltom City. She was currently a member of First Baptist Church of Joshua. Survivors include her sons, Stewart Mize and wife Debra, Scott Mize and wife Shirley, Ronald Mize and wife Diane, Chuck Mize and wife Lori, and Clay Mize; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister, Mildred Caraway; sister-in-law, Joyce Styles; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion Wayne Mize on May 31, 2004; two brothers, Sam and Wilburn and one sister, Billie Freeman.
