Donald A. Butler, age 71, died on August 4, 2019. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Brierley). Loving father of Tobin Alan Butler (Cristin) and Melanie Johnson (Bret). Dear grandfather of Kayla Johnson, Victoria Butler, and Zachary Johnson. Caring brother of Elaine Jaffin (Bob), Jeanne Brigham (Bill), and the late Annette Solebello (Lynn). Donald is also survived by many nieces and nephews and many beloved family and friends. Don was born and raised in Belfast, ME. After graduating from the University of Maine in 1969 with a bachelor's degree in Engineering, he married his high school sweetheart and enjoyed 50 wonderful years by her side. He worked for various engineering firms across the United States. He retired from DCO Energy in 2014 after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. Don enjoyed spending time with his family, playing games, going to the movies, visiting museums, and watching sports. No matter where he lived he enjoyed cheering on the Eagles and the Phillies, proudly wearing a team hat or jersey. Going to the Philadelphia Flower Show and the Frozen Four were annual events he looked forward to. He passed while surrounded by his loving family and never lost his sense of humor. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday from 1pm to 3pm at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton, NJ. Interment will be private.
