Service for Lillian “MaMaw” Morris, 84, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 16, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Lillian “MaMaw” Morris passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 in Rio Vista. She was born Dec. 2, 1932 in Hillsboro to Willie Walter and Patsy Taylor Shafer. She married Richard Cicero Morris on Nov. 2, 1951 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 21, 1980. She then married Chester Rotenberry on Nov. 20, 2000. Lillian worked in housekeeping at Walls Regional Medical Center before retiring. She loved gardening, cooking and bowling. MaMaw was a very loving and caring person with a big heart. She was of the Church of Christ faith. Survivors include her husband, Chester Rotenberry of Rio Vista; daughters, Judy Watson and husband Kelly of Glen Rose, Barbara Morris of Keene and Dachelle Morris of Rio Vista; sons, Richard Morris of Keene and Brian Duncan of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Tana Watson, Hunter Foust, Haila Linton, Zachary Duncan, James Morris and Cody Lloyd; great grandchildren, Keeton, Evan, Izzabelle, Faith, Anna, Lane , Brantley, Sophia and Lillian; and numerous other nieces, nephews, additional family and many friends who will miss her greatly. She was also preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Randy Dickey and her brothers and sisters.
