Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Darlene McClimans, 56 of Mexia will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007 in First Baptist Church in Mexia. Rev. Marcus Sheffield, pastor, will officiate with interment at 2 p.m.in the Clariette Cemetery, located approximate 7 miles northwest of Hico off Highway 6. Visitation with the family will be 9 - 10 Thursday morning prior to the service. Mrs. McClimans was born April 4, 1950 in Abilene to Lee Roy and Iva Bell Mayfield and passed away on March 25, 2007 in Lubbock. She was a public school teacher for 18 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Mexia. She is survived by her husband, Mike McClimans of Mexia, a son, Chris McClimans of Lubbock, a daughter, Heather Rushing of Lubbock, two grandchildren, Faith and Kayla Rushing.
