Pedro del Toro

Pedro Jose del Toro, formerly of Groesbeck, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 25. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Faulkenberry Cemetery with Rev. Jose Cantu officiating. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 PM, Thursday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Pedro was born March 10, 1992 in Corsicana, Texas to Robert and Aida Moreno del Toro. He was raised in Groesbeck and, later, moved to Glen Rose where he graduated from Glen Rose High School. He was presently working as a truck driver, in the Oil Industry, hauling waste disposal. Pedro was a loving son, brother and uncle and enjoyed spending time with his family. He also enjoyed fishing, playing pool, going to the Frio River, Tennessee Whiskey and “Being a Cowboy”. He was preceded in death by both of his grandfathers, Pedro Moreno and Jose del Toro; cousin, Jesus Davila and girlfriend, Vivian. Pedro is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Aida del Toro; brothers, Robert Antonio del Toro and Manuel del Toro; sisters, Rosa del Toro, Juanita del Toro and Delia Lizzette del Toro; girlfriend, Maria Salinas; maternal grandmother, Guadalupe Moreno and paternal grandmother, San Juanita Acevedo; nephew, Jessy del Toro; and nieces, Myla Rae del Toro, Anahi del Toro and Audrey Aguirri.
