Harold L. Cota Essex Jct. Harold Leonard Cota, 78 passed away on Monday August 24, 2009 at the Vermont Respite House in Williston. He was born in Ticonderoga, NY on June 3, 1931 son of the late Howard and Mae (Benson) Cota. Harold was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, having just celebrated 58 years of marriage on June 2, 2009. He will be greatly missed by his family, especially his soul mate and caregiver Carlene. He is survived by the Love of His Life, his wife of 58 years Carlene (Mae) Cota of Essex Jct.; Three children: Thomas Leonard Cota of Jericho; Brian Clayton Cota and wife Laurie of Shoreham; Tammy Marie Pillon of Pittsford; His Aunt Vera Cota of Starksboro; Five grandchildren: Thomas; Kristen; Clayton; Eric; Jacob Two great grandchildren: Kelly; Branden; Several nieces, nephews and the many special friends from over the years. He is also predeceased by his two brothers, a sister, his granddaughter Tracy and grandson Christopher. There will be no public visiting hours or funeral services held.
