Libby Cross, age 88 of Peebles, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center. She was born in Sabina, Ohio on September 1, 1926 the daughter of the late Calvin and Laura (Ivers) Gilpin. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Cross; five brothers; and 7 sisters. Libby attended Peebles Church of God. She is survived by one son, Larry Cross of Peebles; two grandchildren, Tobi Sloan and Dion Cross; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Harold Keaton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
