Gerald B. Collins, 77, of Stumptown, WV passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Glenville Center nursing home, Glenville, WV. He was born April 30, 1939 in Stumptown, WV. He was a son of the late Harold and Norma Blackshire Collins. Gerald was a graduate of the School for the Deaf in Romney, WV and worked for the Kenny Shoe Factory in Glenville. He also enjoyed working on the farm and drinking Pepsi Cola. He is survived by one sister, Darlene and Jim Yoak of Parkersburg; one brother, Tony and Sue Collins of Stumptown; one niece and six nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Kenny Collins. Funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor John Vannoy officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
