James Madison Obituary

James W. Madison , age 68, passed away at MCHS in Eau Claire on Thursday, November 16, 2017. He was born to Warren and Ila (Ronnestrand) Madison on September 4, 1949 in Sand Creek. Upon graduating from Bloomer High School, Jim attended UWEC and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Masters in School Psychology. He worked as a farmer, school psychologist, and a special education teacher. Jim enjoyed spending time at the lake cottage in the summer, wintering in Florida and Mexico, traveling, playing cards, spending time with friends and family, and a good cabernet. He is survived by his children: Eric Madison of Bloomer and Allison Madison of Middleton; Special Friend: Melanie Berg of Chippewa Falls, sister: Cindy (Rick) Boyle of Middleton, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: Warren and Ila. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 4:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Private interment will be held at the Bloomer cemetery at a later date. Olson Funeral Home and Cremation in Bloomer is assisting the family.
