Rosetta Morrone Obituary

Rosetta C. Morrone, 57, of Kenosha, passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. She was born in Cerisano, Italy, on November 9, 1952, the daughter of the late Mariano and Assunta (Molinaro) Bruno. In 1968 she moved to Chicago. On September 9, 1973, she married Alfonso F. Morrone in Chicago, IL. They then moved to Kenosha, making it their home. Rosetta was previously employed as a tailor by Valet Cleaners in Racine. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, and also a member of both Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Auxiliary Ladies Societies. She is survived by her husband, Alfonso, of Kenosha; her three sons, Jack (Melissa) Morrone of Addison, IL, Robert Morrone of Racine, and John Morrone of Chicago, IL; three sisters, Irma Cosentino of Norridge, IL, Josephine (Kelly) Ruffolo of Kenosha, and Mirella Bruno of Addison, IL; three brothers, Leopoldo (Gina) Bruno of Cerisano, Italy, Emilio (Carmela) Bruno of Addison, IL, and Orlando (Richetta) Bruno of Cerisano, Italy; and a grandson, Matteo Morrone. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Maria. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24th, at Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
