Brian Stevens Obituary

Brian Stevens of Gary Indiana was born on August 4, 1963, to parents Hiawatha (living) and John Booey (deceased). Brian died in Madison, WI after a failed heart transplant on February 6, 2020. Brian graduated from Martin Luther King Academy High School and later worked as a Manager at Gulf Stream South Medical. Baptized in 2016, he was a member of the Dayspring Sanctuary in Texas.

Brian, an amazing man, is survived by his loving family, friends and all he touched. Brian has two remaining siblings, Erika and Eric Booey who shared a close relationship throughout the years in a tight-knit family. Brian Stevens met Joanne Jamison at the age of 18 and later welcomed their children. Son Lonnie 39 and Daughter in Law Tiffany Kennedy, Son Brian Jr. 37, Son Antonio Kennedy 34 and Daughter in Law Stephanie Johnston, and Daughter Tawatha Kennedy 31. Brian had one granddaughter and 5 grandsons, Alanna, Taylun, Delondrae, Evan, Jy’Heir, Lincoln, and. Brian is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews, cousins' and extended family.

Brian, a very funny and charismatic individual, enjoyed some of his favorite pass-times watching football and basketball with grandchildren, friends, and family.

Brian's funeral service will be held at The Goodman Center 214 Waubesa St, Madison, WI 53704, Tuesday, Feb 18, 2020. The family will receive friends, loved ones and condolences at the funeral from 11 A.M to 1 P.M on Tuesday.
