Janet Drier

Janet Louise Drier, age 73 of Reedsburg passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at her home following an extended illness. She was born on December 1, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Willard and Gladys (Wahl) Krause. She is remembered as a very loving and caring person. One of her dreams was to win the lottery so she could take the money and help people in need. She was a great cook, and also did canning from the produce of her large gardens, which were her joy. She was also a very hard worker as a sales clerk for K-Mart. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Carl ‘Butch’, Peggy, Mike, and Dick. She is survived by her children; Dawn (Paul) Nordahl of Reedsburg Kimberly Drier of Reedsburg Jodi Drier of Milwaukee Joe (Kelly) Drier of Milwaukee 9 Grandchildren: Melissa, Melanie, Josh, Eric, Jenny, Jesse, Heather, Andrew and Eric. Great Grandchildren: Hunter, Maklya, Madalyn, Zach, Jimmy, Dakota, Clayton, Chloe, Jaxson, Carson, Casey, Caleb and one on the way: Abel. Brothers and Sisters: Bob (Dawn) Krause, Pam Simic, Debbie (Tom) Peralta, Bill (Amanda) Krause, Sharon Metko, Ted (Julie) Krause, Darrel (Bonnie) Krause, Cheryl Krause, Vickie (Tom) Buetow, Jeri (Bob) Zwolinski. Numerous nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in Trinity Baptist Church, Reedsburg with Pastor Michael Lopp officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorials of remembrance may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, Reedsburg in lieu of flowers. The Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
